Frowser is a privacy-focused web browser. We designed it to keep your browsing on your device. Frowser does not require an account, and we do not run our own servers that collect your data. This policy explains what limited data is involved and why — including the advertising used to keep the app free.
The following is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to us or anyone else:
You can clear this data at any time from within the app or by deleting the app.
Frowser is free and supported by advertising provided through Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). To serve and measure ads, Google may process:
This data is handled by Google under its own policies. Learn more at Google's Privacy & Terms and how Google uses data.
On first launch, Frowser asks whether you allow tracking. Your choice controls whether the advertising identifier is used for personalized ads. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Frowser's ad, tracker, and cookie blocking runs entirely on your device using Apple's Safari content-blocking technology. When you browse, requests go directly from your device to the websites you visit; Frowser does not proxy, log, or inspect your web traffic on any server.
Frowser is rated 4+ but is a general-audience web browser. Because it provides open access to the internet and shows advertising, it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any revised policy.
